Bodegas Lagarde Malbec DOC 2007 - 90 Points Robert Parker - No tasting notes for 2007, but here are the 2006 tasting notes (also 90 Points): "It exhibits an enticing bouquet of cedar, tobacco, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with good density, lingering, savory flavors, and a fruit-filled finish. It will evolve in bottle for 3-5 years and drink well through 2020."$20 (Save $4)

O. Fournier Urban Ribera del Duero 2007 - 91 Points Robert Parker "The 2007 Urban Ribera is a strong candidate for the best new release Ribera del Duero under $25. Made from 100% Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo), the wine spent four months in French oak. Purple-colored, it offers up a fragrant bouquet of scorched earth, violets, and black cherry that leaps from the glass. Smooth-textured and suave on the palate, it has loads of succulent black fruit, silky tannins, excellent depth and grip, and a juicy finish. Drink this tasty effort over the next four years." $20 (Save $4)
