Description
Pale straw yellow in colour. Elegant and harmonious on the nose. Fresh and well balanced on the palate; ample flavours; the predominance of Macabeo is obvious. Very persistent fine mousse.
Background
The Segura Viudas estate dates back to the 11th century, when it was used as a military outpost in southern Spain. It took until the end of the 19th century before the residents determined the value of exporting their indigenous grapes (Macebo, Parellada, and Xarel-lo) and then they began making their delightful sparkling wines. Segura Viudas’s wine-making abilities have been recognized by the number of awards they have won over the past years.
The Brut Reserva is a fantastic little wine, perfect for sipping on your deck after a warm summer day.
Serving Suggestion
This sparkling wine is an excellent companion to most foods, but pairs especially well with seafood, appetizers, or brunch dishes.
Best served at a temperature of 7-8º C.
