The 2016 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Les Trois Terroirs is a blend of the three cuvées that the domaine usually bottles separately but were depleted by the frost in this vintage. Completely destemmed, it has a very pure black cherry and crushed strawberry scented bouquet that blossoms nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannin, the 30% new oak nicely integrated with veins of blue fruit/cassis toward the finish. Very fine.
